Date and place of Birth - Ravish Kumar is of 41 years of age as his date of birth is 5th December 1984. He is originally from Bihar Jitvarpur village of East Champaran district.

 

 

Educational background - Initially Ravish Kumar started his primary education from his village school and later got admitted in Loyala school, Patna from where he did his higher secondary and them came to Delhi University for graduation. He did his graduation from Deshbandhu college and like most of the Bihar students of DU, his prime aim was also to crack UPSC civil services exam. However he was not able to do that and did post graduation from same college and later did diploma in Mass communication.

 

Ravish Kumar family

While studying in Deshbandhu College, Ravish Kumar fell in love with a Bengali girl of Indraprastha college Nayana Dasgupta and decided to marry her. His family was an orthodox Brahmin family and was strictly against this marriage, but going against the family both Ravish Kumar and Nayana got married. Even now Nayana haven't visited her in laws house. Ravish lost all his contacts from his family except his own parents. Nayana Dasgupta, wife of Ravish Kumar did Mphil and is a great scholar. Ravish cousin Brajesh Pandey who contested from Congress in Bihar election is also not in touch with him as a relative.
